Among the accommodations available to guests are one of two rooms in the Inn that overlook the river.  Both offer breathtaking views, airy, cathedral ceilings and sliding door access to a shared deck overlooking the village of Grafton and the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers. 

Riverside Room #2, pictured at right, features rich, masculine colors.

Riverside Room #1 is illustrated to the left, and is decorated brightly, in more delicate colors.

Like all rooms at Tara Point, both feature private, carpeted baths, king-sized beds and in-room television.  And like the Delta Queen Suite, the River Side Rooms include a continental breakfast served in the Inn, and free access to the Game Room , which is located just down the hall.

Perhaps the best feature of these rooms is the view that you get from your own window.  Romantic sunsets shouldn't be missed, and they can be viewed from the bedroom or outside on the deck immediately beyond your private sliding door.

The Riverside Rooms aren't suites, and we therefore must limit the number of occupants to 2.

Cottage guests are not permitted use of the Main House (the Inn), including the game room, breakfast area and decks.  Private decks are provided for each cottage.  Guests at the Inn are not permitted on the cottage decks.  All guests are free to roam the woods trail, or use the gazebo or other outside sitting areas around the property.  Smoking is not permitted inside any of the buildings at Tara Point.  Cooking (other than warming breakfast items), is not permitted inside or outside.  Tara Point is private property; only registered guests are permitted.  We regret that we cannot provide inspection tours.  Not all breakfast items pictured or described may be available at all times.  Rooms illustrated show typical configurations, but each room may have a different decor.  Prices are subject to change without notice.  Cancellations must be received 7 days prior to scheduled arrival for full refund.  Check-out is prior to 11 AM; check-in is after 3 PM.  If you are going to arrive after 7 PM, please contact us in advance to make special check-in arrangements.  For further information about Tara Point, please call us at (618) 786-3555 or click on our contact page, or you may e-mail Tara Point by clicking here.  For questions and suggestions about the web site only, please e-mail the webmaster by clicking here.  The webmaster is not employed by Tara Point and is therefore unable to answer questions about the facilities.
